DRAGUTIN "KARL" MARKOVIC It is with a heavy heart of pain and sadness that we announce the passing of a loving father, grandfather and godfather, Mr. Dragutin "Karl" Markovic at the age of 69. Born on May 22, 1934 in Polje, Croatia, and immigrated to Canada in 1976 with previous stops in France, England, and Alaska. He worked as a heavy-duty press welder at Chicago/Northern Blower. He leaves behind, with love his two sons, Carl (Jr.), Dennis; daughter Suzanna; and grandson Tomislav. Prayers will be held on Thursday, May 13, at 8:00 p.m., at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 14, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Nicolas Tavelich Roman Catholic Church, 2688 Main St, Winnipeg, with Rev. Fr. Franjo Visaticki presiding. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Flowers will be gratefully accepted. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
