Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROSE SPULNICK Peacefully, on May 6, 2004 at the St. Josephs Home, Winnipeg, Rose Spulnick, aged 90 years of Matlock, MB, beloved wife of the late Louis. Rose is survived by her daughter Judy Haidinyak (Cyril) sons, David (Wilma), Bryan (Lauris) and Larry (Janet) 10 grandchildren, Carol (Pat), Kenny, Jill (Tony), Keith (Corrine), Brent (Melanie), Robyn (Karim), Evan, Brett, Scott and Trisha; six great-grandchildren, Lenny, Austin, Brandon, Connor, Harry and Hannah; sister Helen Lucyshen; sisters-in-law, Josie Ksionzek and Blanche Swirski; brother-in-law Ronald Bowles, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Rose was predeceased by her parents, Anton and Anna Ksionzek; sisters, Mary Zilinski, Stella Bowles, Eve Jones, Margaret Srutwa and Nellie More; and brothers, Joe Ksionzek and Charlie Ksionzek. She was born on April 27, 1914 in Melnice, MB. She just recently celebrated her 90th birthday with her family on May 10. Rose was very active in the Matlock community, especially the Matlock Recreational Hall, which she and her husband Louis helped to build. She looked forward to family dinners, crocheting, baking, cooking, trips to the casinos, cards and playing bingo. Prayers will be said on Sunday, May 9 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 10 at 10:30 a.m. in the Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, Winnipeg Beach, MB. Interment to follow in the Holy Rosary Cemetery. Roses pallbearers will be Brent, Brett, Scott, Kenny and Evan Spulnick and Robyn Haddad. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of ones choice or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba 200-6 Donald St. Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
