ALBERT HENRY KING It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Albert Henry King, aged 76 years, on May 8, 2004, at home. Albert was predeceased by his mother Dorothy, father Albert and brother Ron. He will be lovingly and always remembered by his wife Evelyn; sister Dorothy; his children and grandchildren, Linda (Steven, Amanda), Kelly and Norm (Corey, Erin, D.J.), David and Silvana (Genna) Cheryle and Pat (Richard, Bobbi), Chris and Don (Rachel, Ben), George and Lou (Melissa, Nicholas), Lisa and Jack (Adam, Eddie) three great-grandchildren; numerous step-children, nieces and nephews. Albert, the Silver Fox will also be missed by his dear friends especially those who have known him since he came to Canada over 40 years ago and in addition to the many friends and relatives residing in England. The family would like to thank all the people who helped to give support and care to Albert during his illness. Service of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday, May 12 at 11:00 a.m. in Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. An inurnment will follow in Chapel Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Portage Avenue. The Legion Colour Party will be present. Reception to follow at No. 1 Royal Canadian Legion at 626 Sargent Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice. You Are Special Special is a word that is used to describe something one-of-a-kind like a hug or a sunset or a person who spreads love with a smile or kind gesture. Special describes people who act from the heart and keep in mind the hearts of others. Special applies to something that is admired and precious and which can never be replaced.
