ROY STEVE PANAS January 7, 1934 - May 7, 2004 Peacefully on May 7, 2004 Steve passed away at home at the age of 70 years Steve is survived by his wife Loretta; sons, Leonard, Richard and Barry (Chrissie) grandchildren, Jamie, Sarah, Samantha and Benjamin; brothers, Edward (Doreen), John, James (Ollie) and Gordon (Elsie) sisters, Grace (Vince) and Valerie; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Bertha; sister Joyce; and brother Samuel. Steve was born and raised in Sandhill, MB. He worked as a crane operator for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and collecting everything from radios to snowblowers. He will be remembered for his honest and generous nature. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 12 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Steves memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
