YUSTINA PERUN 1920 -2004 Suddenly on May 7, 2004, Yustina Perun of Stuartburn passed away at Vita Hospital, at the age of 83 years. Yustina will be sadly missed by her one son Morris (Irene) Perun; three grandchildren: Sheila (Les) Yarema, Angie (Shane) Chubaty, Christine Perun (Ryan) two great grandchildren: Alycia and Stephen Chubaty; her sisters: Pauline (late Jim) Pylypjuk, Kay (Peter) Bezrucko; brother: Harry (Gertie) Pulak, Steve Pulak; brother-in-law John (Elva) Perun of Crossville, Tennessee, USA. She was predeceased by: husband Steve Perun on March 17, 1989; brother Billy Pulak; sister Ann Orsulak. Yustina was born on June 15, 1920 in Pansy, Manitoba. On October 21, 1944 she married Steve Perun. When they moved to Stuartburn they established a home, a family and a farm. She enjoyed gardening, and all outdoor activities. She was well known for attending and helping in all church and community functions. She will be sadly missed by her friends and neighbours. A special thank you to neighbours and friends for there kindness, support and help. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 12, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, Stuartburn, Manitoba, with interment at Parish Cemetery. Prayers will be said Tuesday, May 11 at 7:30 p.m. at Loewen Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, Manitoba. Services officiated by Rev. Deacon Leon Twerdun. Donations may be made to Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church of Stuartburn or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
