JOAN ANDREWS It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother and Grandmother Joan Kardynal on Wednesday May 5, 2004. Joan was predeceased by her husband Leonard and is survived by her children Garry, Brenda (Michael), Raymond, Kenneth (Jennifer) and cherished grandchildren Jordan, Taylor, Kaitlyn and Aaron. Mom was born in Kinston in 1932 and moved to Brandon in 1950 where she met and married Leonard. They moved to a farm in Saskatchewan where they spent many wonderful years with their children before moving to Winnipeg in 1969. Mom loved cooking, knitting, sewing and reading and was most happy when baking our birthday cakes or trying new recipes from her vast collection of cook books. As a family we spent many happy summers at Gull Lake, swimming, waterskiing going for walks, blueberry picking, making perogies and spending time together. Moms thoughtful and caring ways will be deeply missed. She brought so much joy to our lives and was always there for us in our times of need. We love you mom. In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated in her memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200-6 Donald St., R3L 0K6. A service will be held Wednesday May 12 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Church Munroe Ave. KLASSEN Funeral Chapel 1897 Henderson-North of McIvor-338-0331
