Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLLOYD CAMBRAI COLBORNE On May 6, 2004, death came to Lloyd Cambrai Colborne. Lloyd was born March 12, 1917, in Winnipeg. He graduated from St. Johns High School, and joined the Hudsons Bay Company, serving them in various posts in the North until he enlisted in the RCAF. He served as a wireless air gunner in the Second World War, mainly in India. Until his retirement he worked as a carpenter and a stationery engineer. Lloyd is survived by his children, Lynette and Gerry Miller (Winnipeg), Lew Colborne and Gayle Wood (San Antonio), Owen Colborne and Debra Scott (Mississauga), Maureen and Neil Colmin (Moose Jaw) 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Marjorie Ahlbaum, Iris (Kenneth) Vincent, Marg Duff, and their families, and also Pat Colborne. Lloyd was predeceased by his niece, Betsey Vincent and by his brothers-in-law, the Rev. Don Duff and Marvin Ahlbaum. The funeral service will be at Harrow United Church on Wednesday, May 12, at 1:00 p.m., with the Rev. Teresa Moysey officiating. Donations may be made to Harrow United Church or to the Diabetes Foundation. "I would not have you grieve as those who have no hope."
