RALPHAEL (PONCHO) RIEL BRUYERE November 8, 1944 - May 14, 2004 Peacefully with his family by his side after a brief illness Ralph (Poncho) Bruyere, aged 59 years, beloved husband of Lillian Bruyere of Ft. Alexander, MB passed away. Besides his loving wife of 34 years Lillian; he leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Barbara (Douglas), Bernice; a son Ralph Jr. (Maxine) and adopted grandson Chad; daughter-in-law Amanda; 18 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters-in-law, Virginia, Cecile, Helen and Margaret; as well as brother Mike Bruyere; sister Janet Bruyere (Harvey) and numerous relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Margaret Bruyere; brothers, Sam, Louis, Gilbert and Edwin; by sisters, Florence and Elvine; his daughters, Trisha and Margaret; and a son Perry in infancy. Wake services will be held at the family home South Shore, Ft. Alexander, beginning Sunday morning. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 19 at 11:00 a.m. from the St. Alexander RC Church, Ft. Alexander, with Fr. Laval Clouiter presiding.
