GEORGE (GYORGY) FLORIAN KORCSMAROS Passed away peacefully on May 9, 2004 at the age of 83 years at home. George will be fondly remembered by his loving wife of 58 years, Magda (Kuti) who shared a loving and loyal relationship through all of their married life. He also leaves his children, son George Jr. (Lorraine), daughter Jacqueline (Ron) Campo, and daughter Violet (Bob) Sandford; grandchildren, Pamela (James) Elias, Lisa, Jenny, Sarah, Brandon, Cameron, Reid, Amery, and Landon; great-grandchildren, Rachel, Jenna and Stephanie. George and Magda immigrated to Canada from Hungary in 1957 settling in Winnipeg where they raised their family. In the later part of his life he worked for the Provincial Government as a cabinet maker and retired in 1986. George was an avid violinist who played for many concerts and was a member of the Manitoba Conservatory of Music. He loved spending time at the cottage with his family and grandchildren, where he also enjoyed bee keeping and gardening. Memorial service will be held on Friday, May 14 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Family and friends are invited to the Hungarian House, 443 Selkirk Ave. after interment in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Georges memory to a charity of ones choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
