Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRANCES BALL Peacefully and suddenly on May 9, 2004 our mother entered the Gates of Heaven. Frances Edith Ball (Jeffery), born on November 10, 1930 in Winnipeg, MB was predeceased by her husband Donald in 1992; sons, Neil in 1951, Lance in 1986; and daughter Susan in 1996. She will be sadly missed by her children, Jack (Peggy), Pat (Garry), Donna (Lawrence), Janet (Shane), Danny (Marilyn) 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren whom she treasured dearly. Mom worked for home care as an HCA until her retirement in 1994. She spent most of her adult life volunteering with seniors in her community. Moms hobbies were numerous. She was an avid bowler, many times achieving a 200 average. Her love of bingo and casino visits unfortunately were not as successful. She also enjoyed her quiet times with her knitting needles, and watching her Blue Jays on T.S.N. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the C.N.I.B, 1080 Portage Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3G 3M3. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will take place Thursday, May 13 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment and reception to follow.
