LEONTINE DUPUIS (nee ST. GODARD) Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, with family by her side, Mrs. Leontine Dupuis, aged 84 years, of Saint-Jean-Baptiste, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2004 at Foyer Valade. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Roger Dupuis in 1977; her parents Ulric and Elise (Berard) St. Godard; sister Adeline; brothers, Maurice, Romeo, Marcel, Leandre, Willie and Fidolin and many brothers and sisters-in-law. Left to mourn her passing are her children, Albert and Rolande (Pamela, Teena, Julie, and spouses), Bernard and Marie (Patrick, Melanie and spouses), Gilbert and Stella (Monica, Jason, and spouses), Lea and Alvin (Jennifer and Allen), Jacques and Lucette (Laura, Kimberly, and Roger) and four great-grandchildren, Josee, Matthieu, Kayla and Danielle. Also surviving are sisters and brothers, Angelina Audette, Leon (Isabelle) St. Godard, Therese (Denis) Berard, Alfred (Dolorese) St. Godard; sisters-in-law, Angelina St. Godard, Lorraine St. Godard, Jeannette St. Godard, as well as numerous nephews and nieces. Leontine was born and raised in Saint-Jean-Baptiste. Family meant everything to her. She had great respect for life, and for her childrens lives. She will be deeply missed. We are comforted that she is at peace in heaven. The family would like to thank all the second floor staff of Foyer Valade for their compassion, support and the care they provided Mom. Charles Fillion at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 14 at the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Roman Catholic Church. Interment of her cremated remains will take place at a later date in the parish cemetery.
