RONALD WILLIAM MOLLARD Ronnie Mollard suddenly passed away on May 10, 2004 at the age of 42. He leaves to mourn his passing his son Jackson and Tami; brother Larry (Cindy) sister Merilee. Devoted uncle to Autumn and Amanda; and nephew to Earl Mollard, Mary Caldwell (Max), Dyla McGregor and Jack Duncan (Pat). Ronnie was predeceased by his father Ronald and mother Katherine. Ronnie was born in Winnipeg, MB and raised in Stonewall, MB. He began playing hockey at a young age, playing for teams like Winnipeg Warriors, Selkirk Steelers, Brandon Travellers and ended his career playing for Great Falls Montana. After his hockey career he continued to work for his father in Mollard Construction back in Stonewall. In 1990 Ronnie married Tami Couch and raised son Jackson, born in 1991. Ronnies lifelong love of hunting led him to guiding deer and geese and starting DNRs Bear Creek Outfitting, MB with best friend Darryl Stanley. When he wasnt guiding, Ronnie loved to ride the horses on his familys ranch. He excelled in training young horses and could often be seen riding on the trails and downtown Stonewall. Ronnie was a quiet, sensitive person who was a true friend. He could be counted on not to gossip or betray those he called friends. He will be forever remembered and sadly missed by all who knew him. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 15 at 2:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall and family and friends are invited to a luncheon to be held in the Stonewall Legion Hall immediately following the service.
