MARTHA LISKE (ONUFRECIUK) February 16, 1926 - May 12, 2004 Mrs. Martha Liske, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully in Russell on May 12, 2004 at the age of 78 years following a courageous battle with cancer. Martha was born in the R.M. of Boulton, MB on February 16, 1926. She resided in the Russell/Inglis area all her life. She was predeceased by her first husband William Zetariuk. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Arnold Liske; her children, Myrna (Charles) Drost, Lorne Liske and Sandra (Kelly) Yuskin; her grandchildren, Teresa (Steve) Henry, Tracy (Kevin) Glover, Trevor (Marnie) Drost, Shelby and Hailey Yuskin; her great-grandchildren, Justin and Ciara Henry, Madison and Reid Glover. Martha is also survived by her sisters and brothers, Violet (Paul) Flundra, Jim Onufrechuk, Alice Naden, Vicky (Carl) Ulrich, Elaine Onufreiciuc, Peter (Mary) Onufrechuk, Marion (Wilf) Boucher, David Onufrechuk; and numerous nieces and nephews. Martha was a very special lady to her family and her close friends. Funeral services will be held at Knox United Church, Russell on Saturday, May 15 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Russell Memorial Gardens. If friends so desire donations may be made to the Russell District Health Centre Chemo Unit. Braendle-Bruce Funeral Service of Russell, Manitoba in care of arrangements.
