Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES EDWARD CAVERS 1926 - 2004 It is with great sadness the family of Jim Cavers announces his passing on May 13, 2004 with his family by his side, at the Selkirk General Hospital at the age of 78 years. Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Verna; sons, Bill (Shirley), Brian (Bev) and daughter Carol (Wayne), also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Michael and Chris Griffin (Deanne), Erin and Brett Cavers. Jim was predeceased by his parents, John and Mary Cavers; his brother Elwood (Ed) and is survived by his brothers, Murray (Evelyn) and Clifford (Cecelie) his sisters-in-law, Marcella Cavers and Mabel (Orville) Ehnes, as well as numerous other relatives. Jim was a mechanic most of his life, working on farm machinery and vehicles. He worked for John Deere Implements, Rokosh International Harvester and Gulf Canada for many years when Jim wasnt busy on weekends doing equipment repairs for local farmers. He enjoyed fishing trips with family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 18 at 1:30 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Flowers gratefully declined, donations can be made to a charity of your choice. REST IN PEACE DAD. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
