ADELINE H. REITMEIER (nee LAPOINTE) Peacefully, in her sleep, at home, the soul of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother was set free to join her husband, William, who predeceased her in 1986. Mom was born in 1923 and grew up on the family farm in LaSalle, MB. She met and married William in 1944 and together they raised their family of five children. In her later years, Mom enjoyed her bus tours throughout North America, her winter vacations and her daily walks. She leaves to mourn her passing, her son, Ron (Pat) and family, Tina (John) and children, Nicholas, Jennifer and Ryan; Shari (Andre) and children, Zachary and Kalina; Brett (Kerri) and Kamryn; her daughter, Shirley Schulz and her family, Cindy (Michael) and Jessica; Kari (Lauren) her son, Harvey (Lise) and family, Frank (Jocelyn) and children, Trevor and Alicia; Christopher (Lise) and Mandy; Rhonda and children, Tyler and Briana; Marieke and son, Leif; her son, Alan (Diane) and family, Lynn and daughter, Solaine; Karen; her son, Carl (Donna) and family, Jason (Carla), Amber-Dawn and Kelly. Mom is also survived by her sisters, Helen, Denise and Jeanine. She was predeceased by her three brothers, Ray, Hyacinthe and Henri; four sisters, Marie-Ange, Solange, Mae and Rita, and by her son-in-law, Siggi Schulz. Prayer service will be held at the St. Vital Roman Catholic Parish, 1629 Pembina Hwy. on Monday, May 17 at 10:00 a.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Rev. Father Dr. Patrick Morand at 10:30 a.m. The service will terminate at the church. Cremation will follow. Private interment of Adelines cremated remains will take place at a later date. Donations may be made in Adelines memory to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200 - 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
