Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHEODORE HUGO (TED) HOFFMAN June 18, 1917 - May 15, 2004 Ted passed away peacefully at his home on May 15, 2004. Ted was born and raised on the family homestead near Camper, MB. Ted spent most of his life in the community. He was very active in community affairs, and served countless years on the boards of the former Manitoba Farmers Union (local 166), Camper Hall Committee, and the Camper New Horizons Club. Next to his family Teds greatest love was music. Despite his numerous activities, he was never too busy to play his accordion when asked. He, with his wife and friends provided the surrounding communities with entertainment and dance music for almost 70 years. He is remembered by his loving wife of 60 years, Adina (Zacharias) and children, Robert (Wendy), Linda (Alan) Hoover, Ronald (Janice) grandchildren, Michelle (Kevin) Ferguson, Tracey (Chris) Wieringa, Dan and Brad Hoover; Laura, Russell and Shelby Hoffman; great-grandchildren, Trevor, Jason and Mason; sisters, Terry, Bertha and Lana. A memorial service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19 at the Camper Community Hall with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. Interment to follow in the Dog Lake Cemetery beside his infant daughter Karen. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Teds memory to the Lakeshore Hospital Guild, in care of Julie Bergner, for use in the Palliative Care Unit, Box, 721, Ashern, MB R0C 0E0.
