PHYLLIS ALLISON COLTER (nee PARK) March 27, 1915 - May 14, 2004 On May 14, 2004, Allison passed away at the age of 88. She was predeceased by her parents, William Ernest and Mary Agnes Park; brothers, William Bill and Ted; sisters, Agnes Fairburn and Rita McMann. She was also predeceased by her daughter Joyce Baker. She is survived by one son, William Gerald Fizell and his wife Agnes; seven grandchildren, Debbie Fizell, Sheryl Enns, Connie Fizell, Jason Fizell, Brent Rutherford, Pam Lane, Tracy Wolfe and numerous great-grandchildren. Allison was born in Glenella, MB, raised on a farm in Laurier, MB. Mom spent thirty years of her life working for Eatons. After her retirement, she bought a small summer home in Birnie, MB which she enjoyed immensely up until her health started failing. Her yard was always full of beautiful flowers and she had a huge garden that she shared with everyone. Mom was always there for her family and did her utmost to see them through any difficult times any of them may have had. As her health continued to get worse, Mom moved to an assisted living apartment in Selkirk to be near her son. She eventually had to move to the Tudor Home Personal Care facility until her passing. Rest in peace Mom. We all love you. In keeping with moms wishes, a graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 21, 2004 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Arrangements entrusted to: Chapel Lawn Funeral Home Cemetery and Crematorium 885-9715 Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolence at www.chapellawn.mb.ca
