ZAROON JABAR "Bismillah Hir Rahman Nir Raheem" "In the name of Allah Most Beneficient Most Merciful" Peacefully, on Monday, May 17, 2004, Zaroon Jabar, age 78, passed away after a brief illness. She is predeceased by her husband Abdul Latif Jabar and parents, Isahak and Zahora Rojan of Corentyne, Berbice, Guyana. Zaroon is survived by her seven loving children, Dolly (Azad), Budzo (Laila), Bebi (Charles), Sally (Crown), Salim (Zalina), Shireen (Leslie), Roy (Zebbie), 18 grandchildren, Sherry, Vanny, Adrian, Rehana, Merzena, Shaliza, Natasha, Ackleema, Tony, Devin, Ackleema, Nazee, Kamil, Zahir, Gibran, Farrah, Omar and Amal, eight great-grandchildren, Aliyah, Raiyad, Amila, Rashad, Faraz, Kevin, Ashley and newborn Safiyah. Ma was born in Rose Hall, Guyana on December 4, 1925 and immigrated to Canada in 1979. Her role of homemaker continued here as it was back in Guyana. She was a deeply spiritual person who enjoyed the simple things in life. Her greatest joy was being in the company of her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered, sadly missed and forever loved. Well always love you granny. The family would like to thank all relatives and friends for their unwavering compassionate support throughout these difficult times. Viewing will be 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 19, 2004 at Cropo Funeral Chapel - 1442 Main St. Funeral prayers (Janazah) will be conducted at the Manitoba Islamic Centre, 247 Hazelwood Ave - St. Vital at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. May Allah have mercy on her soul and give her a peaceful place in Jannat-ul-Firdaus. "INNAA LILLAAHI WA INNAA ILAYHI-RAAJI-UUN" "VERILY FROM ALLAH (ST) WE CAME AND TO HIM WE ARE RETURNING"
