SUSIE URBANSKI (nee KAZINA) It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother on Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at East Gate Lodge Care Home in Beausejour at the age of 74. Left to cherish her memory is her husband Henry of 56 years; daughter Connie (Ray) Muth; grandchildren, Carlene (Craig) Strand and Brad Muth; sisters, Mary (Anton) Ottenbreit, Kay Corda, Julie (Fred) Pfeifer, Cecilia (Gordon) Mikoliew; sisters-in-law, Katie, Cecilia and Rita, Adeline Post, Mary Steffes, Vicky Modjeski, Bertha (Joe) Pfeifer, Eleanor (Bob) Srutowski and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Nicholas and Antonia and brothers, Peter, Walter, Frank, Joe, Alex, Jim and Paul. Susie was born and raised in Tyndall, MB. She married Henry in 1947; they farmed in Green Oak area and later settled in Beausejour. She worked at the Drycleaners, Sewing Factory and the Hospital in Beausejour. During her lifetime, Susie belonged to many organizations, including Beausejour Health Auxiliary, Beau-head Seniors Association, Club 50 and the CWL. She enjoyed many summers out at Bird River and some of her favourite pastimes included playing cards, listening to music and Bingo. Mom always put others before herself. Her most precious memories were when she was surrounded by family and friends and spending time with her two grandchildren. Our family wishes to express our appreciation to the Beausejour District Hospital Staff for their kindness and loving care during her lengthly stay and a special thanks to Dr. Zeiler. We would also like to express our gratitude to the East Gate Lodge staff for making her final weeks so enjoyable and for making her final days so comfortable. Your compassion and support was greatly appreciated. Special thanks to our family and friends for your visits, phone calls, gifts and prayers that lifted Moms spirits during her illness. In accordance with Susies wishes, cremation has taken place and a funeral service will be held on Friday, May 21 at 11:00 a.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Ave. E. Beausejour, with Rev. Fr.
