GERTRUDE MAY ALLAN, R.N. (nee GRAHAM) August 16, 1908 - May 19, 2004 Peacefully at Golden West Centennial Lodge in Winnipeg, MB with family at her side. Gertie was predeceased by her husband, Leslie Compton Allan, in October, 1977; as well as by her parents, Maude and William Graham and siblings, Bertha (Albert) Evans, Elsie James Donald, Oliver (Gladys), Lloyd, Ivan "Joe", Ruby (Clifford "Gil") Gilchrist, Laura (Basil) Pratt, Martin "Mike" and Emma (Jerry) Mahoney. She is survived by her sister, Pearl (Gordon) Smith of Minnedosa and sister-in-law, Edna (Lloyd) Graham of Holland. Gertie leaves behind many nieces and nephews and their families. Many thanks to the sincere and wonderful staff of Golden West Centennial Lodge for loving and caring for Gertie for 18 years, and for the kindness and caring they showed to her family during Gerties final week. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 26 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with visitation one half-hour prior to the service. Interment and reception to follow.
