DARRELL FARQUHARSON Darrell Farquharson, beloved husband of Jackie, passed away on May 19, 2004 at the age of 41. Besides his wife Jackie, he is survived by his brother Chris, his wife Peggy and their children, Christie and Carla; father-in-law Joe Botchar; brother-in-law Dave Botchar and partner Teresa. Darrell was predeceased by his father James in 2003; his mother Mary in 2001; as well as his mother-in-law and sister-in-law Joanne. Darrell had a passion for computers, watching the Vancouver Canucks, and his favourite Nascar driver, Mark Martin. Darrell was greatly looking forward to his second race season as a Formula-Vee driver. Darrell derived a lot of pleasure from racing and the camaraderie of the Winnipeg Sports Car Club. Thanks to Dr. Warrian and the SICU staff at the St. Boniface Hospital. Also, a special thanks to Dr. Terry Chlysta for his years of excellent care. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 22 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Viewing will be held one half-hour prior to the service.
