CAROL RIPLEY In loving memory of Carol Ripley who passed away at the Red Lake Margaret Cochenour Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, May 19, 2004 at the age of 62 years. Carol is survived by her husband Gary; Aunt Gwen and Uncle Stan Goodridge, Aunt Margaret Harris, all of Winnipeg and several cousins in Western Canada. Carol was predeceased by her father Pete Mills in 1950; mother Ruth Mills-McLaren in 1980 and sister Beverly Mills in 1998. Carols family moved to the Red Lake area in 1949. After graduation from Business College she worked for Campbell Mine for six years. Carol then moved to Toronto in 1964 until returning to Red Lake in 1974, where she has lived the remainder of her life. Many thanks go to the doctors and nurses of the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, St. Josephs Care Centre in Thunder Bay and especially the staff of the Red Lake Margaret Cochenour Memorial Hospital. A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Carol Ripley on Tuesday, May 25 at 2:00 p.m. in the Campbell Mine Recreation Centre. If friends desire, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society may be made through the Stevens Funeral Homes "Red Lake Chapel" Box 237, Red Lake, P0V 2M0.
