BORIS (BARYS) BURDZ October 11, 1939 - May 20, 2004 Peacefully on Thursday, May 20, 2004, Boris passed away at the Victoria General Hospital at the age of 64 years. Boris will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his children, Caroline and Alexander; their mother, Christine; his five brothers, John (Sonja), Victor (Nina), Paul (Irene), Walter (Joyce) and Peter (Diane) his four grandchildren, Stephan, Tanner, Sarah and Logan; numerous nieces and nephews; close friends and coworkers of Olivetti Canada and Jack Fraser. Waiting to welcome him home are his mother and father, Wladyslau and Aleksandra (Haroch) Burdz. We would like to sincerely thank the nurses and doctors of the ICU and the Fifth floor at Victoria General Hospital for all their compassion, kindness and care they showed to our Dad and family during this difficult time. Special thanks to our mom, Christine, our Auntie Irene, Uncle Paul and the entire Burdz family for all their support, care, and time spent with our Dad during the last two weeks. Prayers will be held on Monday, May 24, 6:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral service will be held at Cropo Chapel on Tuesday, May 25, 10:00 am. Private family burial to take place at a later date. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St, Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8.
