Betty came from a large family and will be sadly missed by her sisters, Jean, Evelyn, Lilliane, Lucille, Rose, Louise and Theresa; her brother Otto and the many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother Celina; father Arthur and her brothers, Robert, Henrie, Louis, Maurice and Leo and her sister Blanche. Family meant everything to Betty and always came first. At family dinners, she would never sit down to eat until she knew her family was fed and everyone was taken care of. Even in the last days of her life as she battled her illness, her concern was always for our comfort. Betty was our angel. She always had a strong unfailing faith in God and it is comforting to know she is resting peacefully in the loving arms of her Saviour. We would like to express our most profound gratitude to the staff, board and volunteers of Jocelyn House Inc. for the quality end-of-life care they provided, the unfailing kindness, compassionate support and loving care extended to Betty and her family. With a blessing She entered this life as a celebration - a sweet, lovely, loving soul. With a blessing She nurtured, she cared, she toiled, she lived fully and joyfully. With a blessing She moved from us, through us, as soft as a caress, as gently as a whisper But always with joy. Flowers are gratefully declined.
