Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT WESLEY (BOB) GOOD After a lengthy illness, Robert W. Good passed away at Doctor Evelyn Memorial Hospital, Stonewall, MB on Friday, May 21, 2004. He was born November 18, 1944 to Wesley and Irene (Bevan) Good. Bob was an only child and was predeceased by his father in 1965 and his mother in 1997. He will be missed by relatives and friends, the community of Balmoral where he was born and raised, and by his dog Deena. He took an active part in several community groups and was an Honorary Lifetime Member of the Balmoral Mens Curling Club. Bobs greatest joy in life was farming. He took pride in being first to the field and first done at harvest. He enjoyed his livestock and worked hard to build up his herd before he took ill in 1995, when the cattle had to be sold. He suffered his first stroke doing what he loved for recreation - curling. When able, Bob and his mother seldom missed a dance, or a good card game. He was always willing to help out a friend or neighbour. Special thanks to the home care workers, ambulance attendants, doctors and nursing staff for their wonderful care and support. A funeral service will be held at Mackenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall on Wednesday, May 26 at 2:00 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made to a charity of ones choice. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
