WILLIAM ANGUS CLUFF HENRY June 29, 1927 - May 18, 2004 It is with profound sadness the family announces the passing of Angus Gus, Dad, Grandpa at Dauphin General Hospital at the age of 76 years. Besides his loving wife Connie, he is survived by three children Carol (Brian), Val, Jeff (Donna) and his four cherished grandchildren Bruce, Kim (Tyson), Keith and Carolyn and his cherished great-grandchildren Caiden, Kennedi and Carmen. Also surviving are his sister Elizabeth and brother Richard. He was predeceased by his parents Richard and Marjery and brother Fred. Angus grew up in Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan and moved to Winnipeg where he met the love of his life Connie, they married July 10, 1945 and have enjoyed 58 years of love and devotion. Dad worked for the C.N.R. for 41 years. First in Fort Rouge yards them Symington yards. In 1970 he transferred to Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan and then to Dauphin where he retired from the C.N.R. in 1983. Dad was a devoted and loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He took pride in all the accomplishments of his family. He worked hard all his life and was a skilled carpenter always making something for family, friends, and in latter years the Masons and the Eastern Star and his home care workers and for the Dauphin Personal Care Home where his wife has resided for the past eight years. Dad had an exceptionally generous heart, he was always willing to help anyone who needed his help. Dad has left a shining example of true love and devotion for his family. He had a beautiful voice, loved music especially classical and opera. He sang in many church choirs and at many weddings and funerals. He loved to fish and enjoyed nature. He was a devoted member of Masonic Vermillion Lodge No. 68 AF and AM in Dauphin, Victory Chapter No. 6 Order of the Eastern Star as well as Rabboni Chapter No.7 Royal Arch Masons, and Grand Valley Conclave #36 Red Cross of Constantine in Brandon. He had been very active over the years, having held many offices in all concordant bodies of free masonry in Manitoba. He took pride in his work with them and has remained active. A Masonic memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 25, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. from the Riverside Evergreen Chapel, Dauphin. The service will conclude at the chapel.
