Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE A. SKINNER, BScCE, MBA 1931 - 2004 George Skinner of Vista, CA. passed away suddenly on April 22, 2004 on a business trip to China. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Dorothy Elizabeth Skinner and his sister Margaret Lillian Letwin. He is survived by his companion, Maureen Olson, former wife Marion and his brother Jim (Sheila) and his children, Geordie (Carol) of Miami, FL., Harold (Ruth) of San Marcos, CA., Ed (Nicki) and Elizabeth of Winnipeg. He leaves to cherish his memory grand-children, Jordan, Keelan, Taran, Caitlin, Alexander, Raymond, Grant and many nieces and nephews. George was born and raised in Elmwood attending Sir Sam Steele, George V (Grey Street) and St. Johns High School. He graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1953, Faculty of Civil Engineering and in 1959, University of Western Ontario with an MBA. A celebration of life will be held in California in June and his grandchildren will plant a tree in his memory at the family cottage in Matlock this summer.
