MURIEL ELIZABETH THAGARD (nee ELLIOTT) On Wednesday, May 19, 2004 at Tuxedo Villa Nursing Home, Muriel passed away peacefully. She was predeceased by her husband Ray and her sister Florence. Muriel is survived by her daughters Randi Kozak (Gerry), Debra Knysh (Albert), Marny Zielinski (Jerry) grandchildren, Jamie (Marlo), Lindsey, Kari (Cam), Kevin (Katie), Kristan, Dayna; great-grandchildren, Kyle, Coby, Reihen and Molly. She will also be lovingly remembered by her nephew Robin (Sandy, Jason, Erin) and her niece Cheri. Muriel was born and raised in Fort Garry, married in 1944 and took up residence in "the Norwood Flats" until 1993. She worked for over 25 years with Investors Syndicate enjoying her job while making many good friends. Cooking delicious Sunday dinners, sewing beautiful outfits and staging magical Christmass for her family gave Mom much happiness. A celebration of Muriels life will be held on Tuesday, May 25 at 12:30 p.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels 669 Broadway. The family thanks the staff on Station 2 at Tuxedo Villa for their loving care of our "feisty" Mom.
