MARILYN LITTLE Marilyn Kristine Little (nee Olson), born March 20, 1948 in Thunder Bay, ON, passed away at the Regina Pasqua Hospital after a brief illness with cancer on May 19, 2004. Marilyn grew up in East Selkirk, MB and had many fond memories of Happy Thought School. She attended high school in Selkirk where she met the love of her life Dennis Little. They were married in August 1967 in Winnipeg where they resided for a short time. They also lived in Woodlands, MB before moving to Regina in 1972. Marilyns vivacious, fun loving nature and her sincere interest in others drew people to her and resulted in many close and lasting friendships. She had a creative flair in everything she did and a special talent for decorating, cooking and entertaining which she shared liberally with many. Marilyn was also very proud of her Icelandic-Ukrainian background and especially the rich spiritual heritage from her parents who taught her the value of loving the Creator, Jehovah. She dedicated her life to him in July 1958 and led a busy and fulfilling life with Dennis devoted to helping others. Marilyn was predeceased by her loving husband Dennis on November 2, 2003, mother Anne (nee Walonchuk) and step-mother Anna. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her father Wally Olson, step-sister Muriel (Scott) Broadfoot and family, Rosser, MB, step-brother John (Sonia) Stuart and family, Quebec, especially close cousin Laverne (Gerry) Hutzalak and family, Calgary, AB, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, Dennis large family and many dear friends. Friendship to Marilyn was as binding as family ties, because of that she had a long list of children, including special family Nancy and Ron, Cheminus, BC, who mourn their loss. Marilyn always maintained her deep trust in Gods promises of a paradise earth and the resurrection hope. (John 5:28,29). A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 29 at 2:00 p.m., Kingdom Hall Complex, 2020 Van Egmond Pl., Regina.
