Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNIE BUNIO (nee TURCHYN) Peacefully at the Tudor House, Selkirk, on May 24, 2004, Annie Bunio, aged 95 years, a longtime resident of Walkleyburg, MB. Annie was born in Medika, MB on January 27, 1909 to Andrew and Anna Turchyn. She married Michael Bunio in 1932 and they lived and farmed in Walkleyburg. She will be sadly missed by her son Eric (Irene) and grandchildren, Darrell and Darlene of Vancouver. She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters, Mary Hrynyk, Mable Mucha, and Jean Bilan. She was predeceased by her husband Mike Bunio on August 28, 1982; brothers, Peter, John, Bill, and Mike; and sisters, Katie and Nettie. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, May 26 at 8:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, May 27 at 10:30 a.m. in the Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Selkirk. Interment will follow at the Brookside Cemetery in Walkleyburg. Pallbearers will be Jack Costello, Leo Danis, Brian Schledewitz, John Semenowich, Allan Tetrault, and David Turchyn. The family would like to say a special thank you to the wonderful staff at Tudor House. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of ones choice. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
