NICKOLAUS "KLAUS" ROESLER Peacefully, on Sunday, May 23, 2004, with his family at his side, Klaus Roesler, husband of Agnes, passed away at the Donwood Personal Care Home at the age of 78 years. He is survived by his wife; three sons, Peter (Caterina) and their daughter Loreena; Robert (Colleen), son Eric and daughters, Shannon and Lisa; Kelly (Shelley) and their two daughters, Stephanie and Stacey; and one sister Martha (Horst) Richter of Germany. Klaus was predeceased by his parents, brother Arthur, and sisters, Maria and Kathe. Klaus was born in Alexandrodar, Russia on September 15, 1925. He immigrated to Canada in 1951 and married Agnes Wiebe in 1956 in which they enjoyed 48 years together. He ran his own painting business which he enjoyed, but being outdoors, fishing, hunting, and spending time at the cottage with his family was his reward. Very special thanks to Donwood Personal Care Home and Staff on 2 North for their loving care and compassion. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 27 at Elmwood Mennonite Brethren Church, 145 Henderson Hwy. at 11:00 a.m. with viewing on Wednesday from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel and prior to the service on Thursday. Interment will be held in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
