SALMEA (SALLY) FEDEWICK It is with great sorrow that our family announces the passing of Sally who went to God suddenly on Sunday, May 23, 2004 at the St. Boniface General Hospital. Sally was born at Pine Ridge to Mary and Daniel Fedewick. She spent her childhood at Pine Ridge and Oak Bank schools. We later moved to Winnipeg where she began her lifes career working at the Hudson Bay Company for five years, then moving to Indian Affairs where she stayed till she retired. She resided in the Fort Rouge area with her sisters Pearl and Emily. Sally leaves behind many cousins and nephews. Together with her flair for farming, Sally and Pearl enjoyed their Secret Garden which was a joy to behold and she loved the outdoors. Sally was an animal lover, feeding the rabbits and squirrels and enjoying their adopted cat Miss Daisy. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, May 28, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 737 Bannerman Ave. with Rev. Fr. A. McVay, OSBM officiating. After the service the burial will be held at the Pine Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Humane Society or any other charity of your choice. And now our dearest Sally, God will take care of you for eternity, holding you forever in his arms. We miss you so much now and our love for you every day will be everlasting!
