Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCECIL JOSEPH MAIN SR. Peacefully, in his sleep, on Monday, May 24, 2004, Mr. Cecil Main Sr. passed away at the Ste. Anne Hospital in Ste. Anne, MB at the age of 87 years. He leaves to mourn his passing his two remaining sons, Norman (Laurence) and their children, Gilbert and Debbie; Jerry (Linda) and their children, Lisa and Karen; his daughter-in-law Lea and the children of the late Cecil Main Jr., Dave, Jim and Jeff and extended families. He also leaves to mourn numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Cecil was predeceased by his parents, James and Margaret Main; his brother Dave; his sisters, Rose and Mary; his beloved wife of 62 years Odile in 2001; his daughter Doreen in infancy; his son Cecil in 2004; his daughter-in-law Dorothy in 1983; his grandson Ken, and his great-granddaughter Cecilia both in 1994. The family extends its heartfelt thanks to the doctors and staff at the Villa Youville in Ste. Anne as well as Sisters Marguerite Forest and Irene Rioux for their diligent religious support and guidance. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Rene E. Chartier at the Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church in Ste. Anne, MB, on Friday, May 28 at 10:30 a.m. Viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place in the family plot, Richer Parish Cemetery, following the mass. Honorary pallbearers will be Lisa Nault, Brenda Main, Cheryl Main, Carla Guderion, Cecile Friesen and Rolande St. Laurent. Active pallbearers will be Henri Faucher, Alfred Mezebroski, Roland Fontaine, Karen Main, Henri Proteau and Laurent Jolicoeur. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cecils memory to the Extended Care Unit of the Villa Youville Inc., 15 chemin Charriere, Ste. Anne, MB, R5H 1C9.
