CHARLIE LAUZON August 7, 1923 - May 26, 2004 Our family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather. Charlie passed away peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital after a short illness. Charlie is predeceased by his parents, Antoine and Florrie; brothers and sisters, Gordon, Jim, Willie, Ben, Ruby and Phillip. He leaves to mourn his wife Mary of 51 years; son Brent (Kim) daughter Jackie (Gary) grandchildren, Fran, Adam, Jillian and Trevor; twin sister Clara; brothers and sisters, Albert (Michelle), Violet, Judy, Florrie, Edna, Shirley (Sylvestor) sister-in-law Minnie; and many, many nieces and nephews. Dad was born in Pinewood, ON and settled in Winnipeg in 1957. He worked for the C.N.R. for 28 years. He served his country in the Second World War as an MP overseas. Dad retired in January of 1983 and enjoyed many years of fishing. Our family wishes to send special thanks to all the staff at St. Boniface Hospital and to all the Home Care staff, especially Stella and Darlene. Prayers will be held Sunday, May 30, 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, May 31, 10:00 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, Munroe at Brazier, with Brother Jorge Villegas, O.F.M. Cap. officiating. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
