Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT "BOB" HASLAM GARLAND Robert "Bob" Haslam Garland passed away peacefully with his family by his side on May 24, 2004 at the age of 94 years. Survived by his loving wife Frances; two children, Sherrill (Grant) Nordal of Penticton, BC, John Allan Garland of Ottawa, ON; one grandson Robert Allan Nordal and one great-grandchild. Sadly predeceased by his eldest son Robert Francis Garland in 1956; and sister Eleanor Louise Garland in 1991. Bob has lived in Penticton since retiring in 1975. He enjoyed gardening and music all of his life. He was a kind and loving father, and grandfather and a generous friend. He was stationed in Vernon during the war with the Winnipeg Light Infantry Battalion. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 28, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. from Parkview Funeral Home, 1258 Main St., Penticton, BC with Pastor Colin Cross officiating. A reception will follow.
