Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEANNE CATHERINE MUNNOCH (nee SIMPSON) January 22, 1915 - May 23, 2004 It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of our beloved mother and nana after a very brave battle with cancer. Jeanne was raised in Eastend, Saskatchewan, and the Cypress Hills remained in her heart, always. In 1938, she graduated from the University of Manitoba with the Governor Generals Gold Medal in Science (Home Economics). She travelled across Canada with the Extension Service and married William Munnoch in Toronto in 1942, beginning her life as an R.C.M.P wife. Jeanne loved to read and travel and had a number of wonderful trips that she always talked about. She was predeceased by her husband Bill; parents Hertha and Arthur Simpson and sister Lois Orr. Jeanne will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by daughter Barbara McDole (Bill McCance) grandchildren, Chris and Lauren McDole; nephew Art Smith-Windsor of Grand Bend, Ontario; cousins, Ernie Simpson, Toronto, Ontario; Orma Kempe, Kakabeka Falls, Ontario; Haroldine Crerar, Victoria, B.C; Marilyn Warner, Santa Clara, California; Peggy Fyles, Coquitlam, B.C; Kenneth Owen, Mexico; and Ted Ottley, Australia. The family extends sincerest thanks and appreciation to all of the staff at Grace Cancer Care, Dr. Pat Harris; Dr. Van Horne (Assiniboine Clinic) to the Grace Hospice staff and Dr. Hartley. Many thanks to our friends for your special kindness. In lieu of flowers, donations to Grace Hospice, 260 Booth Drive, Winnipeg, MB, R3J 3R5, would be favoured. Cremation has taken place and a private interment with family and friends will take place at a later date. Mum - The beautiful ways Youve cared for me and loved who I am will be a part of me forever.
