MARGARET (PEGGY) REWCASTLE The family of Margaret (Peggy) Rewcastle sadly announces her peaceful passing on May 27, 2004 at Lions Manor at 86 years of age. Peggy was born in Sunderland, England on March 14, 1918 and came to Canada at a young age and settling in Winnipeg. Peggy was employed for a time at the Winnipeg Clinic and later at the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. Peggy was predeceased by her mother and father; brothers, Edward and Albert Rewcastle and sister-in-law Sadie Rewcastle, also grandniece Bryanna Rewcastle and Boyd Ingram. Peggy is survived by three nieces, Cathy Johnson, Patti Bodley and their families and Judy Rewcastle, all of Winnipeg. Also surviving are two nephews, Ted and Don Rewcastle and their families of Calgary; one sister-in-law Betty Rewcastle and cousins, Bruce and Kathleen Ingram and their family of Winnipeg, as well as cousins in Edmonton and England. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Ginnie. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 1 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., Rev. Jim Wolfe presiding. Interment will follow. In lieu of flowers donations in Peggys memory may be sent to the Salvation Army Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 1932, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3R2 or the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3.
