EDNA WARD (nee STROM) 1922 - 2004 It is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Edna Julia Laura Ward, on Tuesday, May 25, 2004 in the Health Sciences Centre. She will be missed by her loving husband of 57 years Jim; son Glenn (Jody Baltessen) grandsons, Connor and Hunter; daughter Allison (Chuck) Patterson; and grandchildren, Graham, Andrew and Shannon. She also leaves to mourn many nieces and nephews. Ednas kind heart, generous nature and unselfishness touched the lives of many people. She had a great passion for sewing, knitting and cooking and many people were fortunate enough to have benefited from her talents and expertise. Edna loved to spend time with her family and friends at the cottage at Big Whiteshell Lake. She will be remembered fondly for her annual boathouse ceilidhs and wee house adventures. At Ednas request, a private interment with family will take place at a later date.
