ALVIN WARREN JOHNSTON (CHIEFEE) With great sorrow the family announces the passing of Alvin Warren known as Chiefee, of Winnipeg on May 28, 2004, at the age of 44 years. Chiefee leaves to mourn his sons, Frankie and Nicholas; Mother Isabel Thompson; brothers, Henry, Anthony, Clay (Mary) sisters, JoAnn (Alex), Yvonne (Mike) step-sisters, Margaret, Doreen, Edith, and Maria. Chiefee had many uncles, aunties, cousins, nieces and nephews. Special friends Dino and Maurice. Chiefee was predeceased by his father Frank Johnston, 1985; his brother John in 1994; his sister Marie Sinclair, 2001; also four brothers in infancy. Chiefee worked at Toronto General Hospital for 14 years, also Conklin Shows for 10 years. Wake services will be held Monday, May 31 and Tuesday, June 1, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 2 at 1:00 p.m. All services will be held at the Bread of Life Ministry, 1338 Main St., Winnipeg, MB. with Pastor Richard Sanderson and Jim Anderson officiating. Pallbearers will be, BIll Thompson, Conrad Pruden, Alex Witmont, Mark Johnston, Lawrence Henry and Brian Johnston. Interment will follow at the Brookside Cemetery.
