THOMAS EUGENE CARMAN (KARMAZYNSKI) July 6, 1923 - May 30, 2004 Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 3, 2004 at the Royal Canadian Legion, Ukrainian Canadian Veterans Branch 141, 618 Selkirk Ave. With great sorrow we announce the passing of our devoted loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. After a battle with diabetes and cancer at age 80 years, Dad leaves to mourn his wife Agnes; children, Darlene, Wayne (Irene), Rick (Susan), Thomas (Evelyn) grandchildren, Derek (Felicia), Marcie (Adam), Steven (Michelle), Ryan (Angel), Natalie, Krista (Percy), Krysta, Jack, Kayla, Terry and Kevin and great-granddaughter Tegan, brother Bennie (Gail) Karman and friend Maureen, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Dad was predeceased by his parents John and Patricia Karmazynski; brothers, Walter, Eddie, Stanley; and sister Emily. Dad will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He always had a good one liner to give back at you or just a joke to bring a smile to your face. In his early years he had a passion to get out on the golf course and go for his Sunday drives out to Lockport. Some of his great accomplishments were his oil paintings that people from around the city would come to have one custom made for them. Dad retired from the City of Winnipeg Stores Dept. in 1988 where he had made a lot of friends during his years there. He was a Veteran of the Second World War and was a long standing member of the Ukrainian Canadian Veterans Legion 141 Branch. He is going to be missed by all. Just remember Pops, you can now run with the best of them. We would like to thank all who had taken care of our Dad and Husband. There is just too many names to list.
