Date of Passing: May 31, 2004
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHOMAS G. OLEARY Thomas Gerard OLeary, aged 58, born September 15, 1945 passed away peacefully on May 31, 2004 in Winnipeg. He is survived by his loving wife Isabel; his children, Andrea OLeary, Ryan OLeary, and Katie OLeary; his grandchildren, Jordan, Ryan, Brendan, and Cullen; his brothers, Bill OLeary, Brian OLeary; and sisters, Maureen Biggs and Patricia White. Tom was born and raised in New Waterford, NS, and has resided in Halifax, NS, Toronto, ON, Burnt Church, NB, and Winnipeg. He is loved greatly by family and friends and has touched many lives over the years. Throughout his life, Tom has been a devout advocate of native issues and has strived to share his visions of improvement with many. Although his lifes journey brought him to several places, his hearts home was always in the Maritimes. Forever proud of his heritage, he would favour many with stories of his experiences. His deep rich laughter and twinkling Irish eyes have been shared with many and so now will be terribly missed. At his happiest when surrounded by those he loved, and who loved him, a celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, June 5 at 10:00 a.m. at Mount Caramel Church, Nova Scotia. May the road rise up to meet you May the wind be always at your back May the sun shine warm upon your face And the rains fall soft upon your fields And until we meet again May God hold you in the hollow of his hand. An Old Irish Blessing. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
