LAWRENCE CARRIERE With his family by his side, Lawrence Carriere, beloved husband of Gladys (nee Kerruish) passed away peacefully at the age of 72 years. Lawrence is predeceased by his parents William and Evangeline, and brothers, Ed (Carmelle), Leo and Albert. Survived by his wife of 52 years Gladys, he leaves to cherish his memory his children, Rob, Roger, Art, Joanne (Vince) Harris, Gary (Crystal), and daughter-in-law Elsie; his grandchildren, Jennifer (Scott), Dale (Tammy), Stephanie and Heather; great-grandchildren, Joshua and Hailey. Lawrence also leaves brothers and sister Noel (Nellie), Blanche and Harvey, sisters-in-law Irene and Muriel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2004, at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, 252 Dubuc St., with Father Lucien Roy presiding. Viewing will take place prior to the service at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Lawrences memory to the Holy Cross Building Fund, 252 Dubuc St., Winnipeg, MB R2H 1E3 or to the St. Boniface General Hospital Research Foundation, 409 Tache Ave., Room D1003, Winnipeg, MB R2H 9Z9.
