ROBERT DILWORTH "DIL" GRAHAM Dil Graham passed away June 3, 2004 in Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 79. He is survived by his wife Joyce; daughter Valerie (Grant) Rerie and their children Angela Cusson (Lyle Gonczy), Jeffrey (Kendra) Rerie, Brandon (Melanie) Rerie and Jessica Barsky; son Dr. Roger (Lorraine) Graham and their children Reid, Evan, Bryn and Brooke; son Dr. Rodney (Cindy) Graham and their children Sterling, Tegan, Corbin and Chanel; great grandchildren Devyn, Dylan and Brady Cusson, Ashley and Desirae Gonczy, Lyric Rerie; brother-in-law Roy Goodfellow in Scotland; brother-in-law Billy Massey in Northern Ireland; sister-in-law Iris Graham in New Zealand; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins in Northern Ireland, England, Scotland, New Zealand and California. He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Mary in Newry, Northern Ireland; brother Maurice (Iris) in New Zealand; sisters Sheila (Billy) Massey of Newry, Northern Zealand and Myrtle (Roy) Goodfellow of Broughty Ferry, Scotland, Uncle Gordon of Winnipeg. Dil was born February 17, 1925 in Newry, County Down, Northern Ireland. He served in the Royal Navy as a radio operator from 1941 to 1949 in the North Atlantic, the Mediterranean theatre of operations and North Africa. He moved to Canada in November 1951 and was employed in the T. Eaton Company Printing Plant until it was closed in November 1980. In November 1954 he was married to Joyce Park, residing in Winnipeg where together, they raised their three children. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Imperial Vets Branch and the Acacia Masonic Lodge No. 111. The family sincerely offers heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses and wonderful support staff of Seven Oaks Hospital for their care, kindness and compassion during Dils lengthy stay. Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 7, 2004 at 11:00 am at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery.
