Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKATHLEEN MARGARET RICHARDS 1922 - 2004 Born in Brighton, England on June 4, 1922, Kathleen left this world peacefully from her much-loved Grace General Hospital, in the arms of Jesus on her eighty-second birthday. Kathleen served in the Fire Service in London and Manchester during the Second World War. She married her handsome Polish-Canadian soldier, Tony, in 1941, coming to Canada as a war bride in 1945. Kathleens faith, church community and family were central to her life. Kathleen was proud to receive her fifty-year Catholic Womens League membership pin. She served on the Board of Friends for St. Josephs Senior Citizens Home and enjoyed many years there as a volunteer worker. Kathleen retired as the administrators secretary from The Grace in 1987 with thirty-four years service. Kathleen will be sadly missed by her daughter, Frances Seaton; her grandchildren, Marjorie (Bob) Mark, Jennifer (Lito) De Torres, Andrew Seaton, Catherine Seaton (Christopher) her great grandchildren, Kathleen, Tori, R.J., Robert, Elizabeth, Alycia and Christopher. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 10:00 am at St. John Cantius Roman Catholic Church, 846 Burrows Avenue, with Rev. Msgr. Stanislaus A. Jaworski officiating. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Benedicts Monastery, the Salvation Army or a charity of your choice. Cropo Funeral Chapel 586-8044
