Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARION CRASS (nee TOFFIN) Peacefully and with her family at her side, Marion passed away on June 4, 2004 after a short illness. Marion was predeceased by her husband, Emil, (1999) and her sisters, Dorothy Powell and Lil Baessler. Mom leaves to mourn her passing and forever cherish her memory, her children, Brad and Kim (Kumar Sharma) her two precious grandchildren, Siena and Maya, who were her rays of sunshine in her later years; her sisters, Gerry Didur, and Eleanor Ormiston; brothers, Mickey and Johnny Toffin; her friends, Sakuntala and Gyan Sharma, long time friend, Dorothy Frederick and many close friends and extended family. Mom was born in Winnipeg and grew up in East Kildonan with her brothers and sisters. She spent her working life at Ogilvie Flour Mills, where she made many friends, especially Linda Tinno. Outside of work, most often time was spent raising her own two children and tending to her extensive flower garden. She enjoyed attending Blue Bomber games with Dad, as well as curling recreationally at both East St. Paul and Valour Road. Mom and Dad shared 51 years of marriage together. They traveled to many distant lands and celebrated several of lifes adventures together. Mom led an independent life after Dads passing, willing to do any chores or baby-sitting duties for her grandchildren. Mom had a loving heart and cared about her family and friends deeply. She always found a way to put a smile on ones face. Keep them smiling in heaven, Mom, and give a big hug to Dad. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 12:00 noon at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Rev. Jim Hatherly officiating. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
