FLORENCE MARGARET FITCH February 22, 1933 - June 4, 2004 Florence Margaret Fitch, of Regina, passed away on Friday, June 4, 2004 at the age of 71. She was predeceased by her father Arthur Fitch and her brother-in-law Richard Cyr. She is lovingly remembered by her mother Elsie Fitch, Balcarres; her son Patrick Fitch, daughter-in-law Dianne and grandchildren, Erin and Alexander, Winnipeg; her brother Harold and Grace Fitch, Red Deer, AB and her sisters, Helen Fitch, Regina, Dorothy Fitch, Regina, Evelyn and John Pringle, Ingolf, ON, Connie and Ron Meighan, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON, Shirley Cyr, Comox, BC and Carolanne Fitch, Balcarres. She is also lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, friends and former co-workers. Margaret was born in Moose Jaw and lived in the Dunkirk, SK area until moving with the family to Balcarres, SK in 1935. She graduated as a Registered Nurse from the Regina General Hospital School of Nursing in 1957, and worked as a nurse at the Regina General Hospital and the Plains Health Centre in Regina until she retired. Margaret loved gardening, and spent many enjoyable hours tending her garden and growing plants. In later years, Margaret spent most of her time in Winnipeg, where she enjoyed the company of her grandchildren. Many thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff on the Oncology, ICU, and Palliative Care units at the Pasqua Hospital. Funeral services will be held in St. Andrews United Church, Balcarres, SK on Tuesday, June 8 at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Jack Bray officiating. Private interment in Balcarres Cemetery to follow.
