HUBERT FRANCOIS HACAULT 1921 - 2004 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Hubert Hacault on Friday June 4, 2004. Hubert had just celebrated his 83rd birthday. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 54 years, Marie (nee Fiola) and his children, Rene (Doreen), Denise (Gilbert), Clement (Annette), Annette (Chris), and Jeannette (Jerry) as well as his 23 grandchildren, Ginette, Theresa, Patrick, Mitchell, Lisa, Stephanie, David, Nicolette, Shannon, Pamela, Mark, Andrew, Isaac, Marita, Roseria, Shannon, Shawn, Mariannick, Brian, Julie, Kaela, Mackenzie and Dillon. He leaves to mourn his brothers, Benoit, Armand (Yvette) half-brothers, Lucien (Simone), Gaston (Heather), Emile (Sylvie), Jean (Lucile) and his sisters, Anna, Louise (Archie), Julie, Celine, Mathilde (Jean), Jeanne; half-sister Germaine (Joey) and sister-in-law Patsy. Hubert was predeceased by his daughter "la petite Annette"; parents, Francois and Irma Hacault; and stepmother Agathe; grandchild Landen; brothers, the late Archbishop Antoine Hacault and Michel; half-brother Roland; half-sister Dorothee; sister-in-law Monica; brothers-in-law, Simon, Adolphe, Maurice and Louis. Papa was passionate about his family. He had unconditional love for his wife and children and was always there for them. Papa never missed an event, and he lived life to the fullest. Although he was said to have retired from work, he continuously loved working on the farm with Rene and Clement. This was to be his 70th harvest year! Hubert was a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus and served as Grand Knight in the 1990s. He loved to play the tuba with the Bruxelles Band and participated in the Bruxelles and Holland church choirs for many years. He had a strong Catholic faith and a solid belief in the Pro-Life movement. In recent years, Hubert learned the operations of a computer and the internet. The morning of his passing, he responded the following message to his eldest granddaughter, Ginette: " God bless and be happy even if the weather is not good to you.." Papa, tu nous manques deja. Ton sourir, ta douceur et ta generosite viveront en nous toujours. Prayers will be said from the St. Gerard Catholic Church, Bruxelles, MB on Tuesday, June 8 at 7:30 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated from the St. Gerard Catholic Church, Bruxelles on Wednesday, June 9 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Huberts memory to a charity of ones choice. On line condolences may be made at www.budz.ca T.J.
