NATALIE MARLOWE (nee KEBICZ) Peacefully, on Friday, June 4, 2004, at the Health Sciences Centre, our loving mother, Baba, sister, aunt and friend passed away at the age of 76. Mom is survived by her daughter Debbie (Russel) her precious angel and only grandchild Alanna; son Hugh (Bev) sister Irene (Eugene) brothers, Steve (Joyce), Mitch (Noreen) sisters-in-law, Irene, Rose; brother-in-law Michael (Elsie) of Edmonton and numerous nieces and nephews. Natalie was predeceased by her husband Paul (1986) father, Anthony (1960) mother, Anne (1986) brother, Mike (1985) sister, Marie (1982) brother, Romeo (2002) and recently, sister-in-law, Anne Granda of Edmonton (February, 2004). Mom was born August 15, 1927, and grew up in Libau. She married her husband, Paul, on November 11, 1944. She worked as an aide at St. Boniface Hospital and later worked for Berezowski Caterers. Mom will best be remembered for her famous cooking and holiday gatherings. She was most happy when all her family was around her. She loved gardening, planting flowers and music. She showed such courage and determination confronting many health problems over the years, never complaining and always smiling. Mom never thought of her own hardships, but only of others well being. Mom was a very kind hearted woman; a warm, unselfish, loving person. She was the epitome of unconditional love. We are all blessed to have had her in our lives and she will be greatly missed. Natalies greatest joy was her granddaughter Alanna. Mom took pride babysitting her during younger years, was very proud of her and enjoyed listening to her stories. Your words of wisdom and courage, I will always cherish, Baba. The family wishes to thank Moms previous homecare workers, 4A and all the staff at Holy Family Nursing Home, Dialysis, Emergency, and MICU staff at the Health Sciences Centre, for all their help, support, and compassion over the years. Special thanks to family members and close friends for visiting Mom in her last few days and for all their love and support. In accordance with Moms wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held Thursday, June 10, at 11:30 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with the very Rev. Melnyk presiding. Private family burial to follow. Donations may be made in Natalies memory to the Kidney Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Foundation, or to the Holy Family Nursing Home. Mom You always did your best, Your heart was true and tender, You lived your life for those you loved, And those you love will remember. It is because of you That I have become who I am. From you I began, And for this I will always be grateful. Rest in Peace our Angel. Vichnaya Pamyat CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
