BERNADETTA GOSGNACH Peacefully at Hawthorne Care Centre, Port Coquitlam, BC, Bernadetta Gosgnach passed away at the age of 93 years. Left to cherish her memory are sons, Tiziano (Virgina), Onorio (Emilia) daughter, Pia (Fiorenzo) daughter-in-law, Elide; grandchildren, Mario, Mirella, Lucia, Paolo, Silvana, Susan, Peter and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Pio Gosgnach; her two sons, Guiseppe and Pio; and her brothers and sisters. Bernadetta was born and raised in Savogna, Udine, Italy. She immigrated in 1957 to Winnipeg, to join her family. In 1992, she moved to Vancouver, BC. Bernadetta will be remembered for her great strength and tenacity. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. One of her greatest pleasures was giving more than she received. Nonna worked at Health Sciences Centre housekeeping for seventeen years and at Concord Hotel housekeeping for two years. One of her favourite pastimes when she retired was knitting slippers, sweaters and blankets for family and friends. In us, her spirit will live forever. We will miss her dearly. Prayers will be held on Thursday, June 10, 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 11, 10:30 a.m., at St. Theresas Roman Catholic Church, 3597 Main St. Interment to follow at Holy Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paolo Franz, Peter Gosgnach, Gildo Gosgnach, Mario Franz, Danny Felettig and Dan Zeeuwen. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
