MARY KUBESH Change of location for Prayers: It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother peacefully on Monday, June 7, 2004 at the Beausejour Hospital, Beausejour, MB, Mary Kubesh aged 88 years, beloved wife of the late Joseph Kubesh formerly of Ladywood, MB. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving daughters, Doris Popiel (Joe) of Powerview, MB, Carol Holyk of Ladywood, MB; her seven grandchildren, Ronald (Susan), Cheryl (Mike), Janet (Bob), Michael (Michelle), Karen (Robert), Sharon (Rick) and Arlene (Jim) as well as nine great-grandchildren Natalie, Brady, Paige, Jennifer, Danielle, Robin, Justin, Jasmine and Jade. Also surviving is her sister Jean Melnyk as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her husband Joseph, her parents, brothers William and Frank and a grandchild Brian. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, June 9, 2004 at 7:30 p.m. St. Marys Roman Catholic Church, Beausejour, MB. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, June 10 at 10:30 a.m. also at St. Marys RC Church with Fr. Owen Steeves presiding. Interment in the Ladywood Cemetery. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Nurses of the Beausejour Hospital and to the Home Care Workers of Stony Plains for the care given to our mother, and to everyone who took time out of their busy day to stop in and see mom.
